Souji a Cover Reveal

As we enter yet another month of quarantine, I am not ashamed to admit that one of the things that has gotten me through has been anime. With an anime obsession comes an interest in Japanese culture and traditions. So I find that I’ve been reading a lot more Japanese and Asian inspired novels.

So I am excited to participate today in the cover reveal for Souji, a new novella of ancient Japan.

There will also be a Facebook release party on the 11th, details for that are at the end of the post.

Now without further ado. . .

Souji Moriah Jane (Tales of the Shinsengumi, #1) Publication date: August 11, 2020 Genres: Asian Fiction, Alternate History

The age of samurai is coming to a close. As the emperor claims his new capital in Edo and brings his imperialists with him, the terminally ill Okita Souji must flee his home to seek solace from his elder sister, Kin. But as his health continues to decline and the reality that his way of life, the way of the samurai, has been lost forever settles in, Souji struggles to grasp meaning and purpose for the remainder of his frail existence. Is there a life beyond the sword for Souji and if there is, can he lay down his katana forever?

Thank you so much for sharing, sweet friend, and I can say I’ve bought more manga during this quarantine then I have in ages. LOL! I would be curious to know what other Asian inspired stories you’ve been reading! 😀
